MISS NOVEMBER - Erin McConach

Destiny's Miss November 2010 is Erin McConach. Here's what she had to stay about herself!

Hi there!  My name is Erin McConach, and I’m Destiny’s Miss November, yayyy!

When I started at Destiny at the very end of March, I was absolutely terrified and could barely talk on stage. If you’d have told me back then that I’d be a girl of the month, I’d have thought you were crazy!

Somehow I managed to work my way up from Flirt to Escort, then to a Premium Escort, and to Manager, and now Miss November! And I even manage to talk on stage from time to time. (Sometimes it’s hard to get me to shut up, even.)

Working at Destiny has truly been the best part of my SL experience.  It’s brought me a family that I never would have expected to find in a virtual world, best friends, and a place to call home.  I always have someone I can giggle with if I’m excited about something,or to shop with (and goodness knows I shop a lot) or just talk with when I need a friend. We’re really a family here, and I can’t imagine working anywhere else.

I spend a lot of time in SL just doing random stuff; I love exploring, and I recently decorated my yard for Autumn, because it’s my favorite season.  I like to think it’s a Fall Wonderland, and I’m so happy there.  But my favorite activity is probably shopping.  Specifically shoe shopping, which comes as a shock to
absolutely no one, I’m sure.  I don’t know who coined the term “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” but they had it wrong, shoes are, at least in my case.  Although I wouldn’t turn down diamondseither, come to think of it.

I’m a voracious reader, I can sit down with a book and not move for hours, lost in the story.  I love to go dancing, both in real life and in SL.  There’s something about getting caught up in the music that’s always been
appealing to me.

I come from a huge family, though I’m an only child, (if it’s not obvious) and we’re all very close, so family is a very important part of my life.

I’m single, in my early 30’s, and live in the States, the Mid-West, to be specific.  Land of cows and cornfields, is how I always describe it.  We also have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but you know, that’s not that great a claim to fame.  Although John Glennis from my state!  (Erin McConach grasps at Ohio shaped straws.)

I like to think of myself as easy to please, though some might disagree.  (Fools, the lot of them.)  Honesty in a
man is a huge turn-on for me, as is intelligence.  I’ve always had a thing for the geeky shy types, and if you’re the quiet type, it makes me a little crazy, wanting to know what’s going on inside. If you’re a liar, or unkind, move it along, I’ve no interest in you.  Truly though, I have less of a specific type than I do just a certain thing.  If there’s a spark, it doesn’t matter what you look like or if you fit the mold of my “type,” a spark is a spark, and I’m going to do my level best to nail you down and, erm, nail you.

A few quotes to sum me up:

"Don't part with your illusions.  When they are gone, you may still exist, but you have ceased to live."
            -- Mark Twain

"You've got to be original, because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for?"
            -- Bernadette Peters
